JEWELL - South Hamilton's 'A' game was nowhere to be found last night at Coach Jim Marsh Court, and the Hawks picked the absolute worst time to have an off night. The opponent had something to do with that though. Ninth-ranked (Class 2A) Prairie City-Monroe bullied the Hawks up and down the court in a 61-31 Heart of Iowa Conference rout. The Mustangs (13-1, 10-1 HOIC) - who have a single loss to league-leading Nevada on their resume - held the Hawks (7-6, 7-4 HOIC) to just eight field goals inside the 3-point arc and 12 total makes from the field. They also limited the touches of leading scorer John Hegland, who finished with a season-low four points.
