Mason Myers makes a 3 late in the game to lift Lynx over Gaels. It was an uphill climb for 31 minutes and 56 seconds for the Webster City boys' basketball team last night inside the WCHS gymnasium. But those last four seconds, oh what a sweet downhill ride they were. And the Lynx have sophomore sharpshooter Mason Myers to thank.Myers showed no fear as he canned a 3-pointer from the top of the key with just four seconds left on the clock to give Webster City its one and only lead in a thrilling 42-41 victory over North Central Conference rival and defending Class 2A state runner-up Fort Dodge St. Edmond.
