Girls Tennis - Webster City vs North Polk
WEBSTER CITY - North Polk dominated singles and cruised to a girls' tennis dual-meet victory over Webster City Friday afternoon at the WCHS courts.
Backed by five wins in six singles bouts, the Comets won two of three doubles contests to secure the 7-2 victory.
WCHS had three junior varsity regulars in the varsity lineup and all three performed well. Playing up for the first time this season, Ashley Richardson accounted for the Lynx only singles win; she clipped Kacie Thompson, 11-9, in the No. 6 match.
